Standing Tall Therapies was set up in 2014 by Victoria Smith, an Accredited Play Therapist

to provide a much needed service in the Norfolk area. She believes that every child should be given the opportunity to Stand Tall and to feel proud of who they are.

Victoria has worked extensively with children and adolescents on the Autistic spectrum, children and adolescents with learning difficulties, adolescents who have been sectioned according to the Mental Health Act and mainstream children who need a little extra help coping with various social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Since training and working as a Play Therapist, Victoria has seen the need for further therapies in the Norfolk area and has trained in AutPlay Therapy and is beginning her training in Sand Play Therapy for both children and adults.

Victoria has a degree in BSc(Hons) Psychology and Child Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills, a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy, a certificate in Creative Clinical Supervision and is a registered AutPlay practitioner.

She is registered on the Play Therapy Register regulated under the UK governments Professional Standards Agency (PSA).

Victoria abides by PTUK’s code of ethics, has regular supervision, is DBS checked and is fully insured with The Psychologists Protection Society.
