Parent Coaching offers you a calm, supportive space to talk through the challenges you’re facing at home and to explore practical, compassionate ways forward. These sessions are designed for parents who want to feel more confident, grounded, and connected in their approach — especially those raising children with additional needs.
You’ll have the opportunity to share what’s been difficult, what’s feeling stuck, or what you’re unsure how to respond to. Together, we look at what’s happening beneath the surface: your child’s needs, your own emotional experience, and the patterns that might be shaping family life. From there, we explore strategies drawn from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside a range of parenting approaches that support regulation, connection, and realistic expectations.
My coaching is informed by years of working in SEN settings, my play therapy practice, and my own experience as a parent. This means our conversations are grounded in understanding the realities of neurodivergent family life — the sensory needs, the communication differences, the emotional intensity, and the day‑to‑day challenges that can feel overwhelming.
Parent Coaching can be a one‑off session to help you navigate a specific situation, or a series of sessions to support you over time. Each session is collaborative, steady, and tailored to your family. The aim is to help you feel heard, supported, and equipped with approaches that fit your child, your values, and your home.
